Thank you for supporting local by choosing Backyard Meats for your purchase. Please review our shipping policy carefully to understand how your order will be processed and delivered.

1. Order Processing:

  • Orders are typically processed within 2 business days (excluding Sundays, Mondays and holidays) after payment verification.
  • Please ensure that the shipping address provided during checkout is accurate. We are not responsible for orders shipped to incorrect or incomplete addresses.

2. Shipping Methods:

  • We offer various shipping options, and the available methods will be displayed during the checkout process.
  • Delivery times may vary based on the shipping method selected and your location.
  • For local delivery we offer two shipping windows (10AM-1PM and 3PM-6PM).  Although we strive to achieve these windows we are affected by many variables but will do our best to keep you updated throughout the delivery process.
  • If we are unable to delivery during the desired time we will reach out to make alternative arrangements but do require a buffer on either end of the window to allow us to provide a consistent delivery service to all of our customers.

3. Shipping Costs:

  • Shipping costs are calculated based on Postal Codes. The applicable shipping charges will be displayed during the checkout process.

4. Order Tracking:

  • Once your order has been shipped, a confirmation email with tracking information will be sent to the email address provided during checkout.
  • You may also receive a text message regarding the status of your delivery, an email for an update, or a link for realtime tracking.  

5. Shipping Delays:

  • While we strive to deliver your orders on time, there may be unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather conditions, customs delays) that could cause delays. We appreciate your understanding in such situations.

6. Lost or Damaged Items:

  • We are not responsible for lost items during transit.  We will be able to provide a photo of the package released at your door. We will do our best to assist you in resolving any shipping issues.

8. Returns Due to Shipping Issues:

  • If your order is returned to us due to an incorrect address or other shipping issues, we will contact you to arrange reshipment. Additional shipping fees may apply.
